Last installment of – Sailing Beyond the Sea
Posted By Patricia on January 4, 2011
Hi Everyone,
I have decided to stop sending out the daily installments of Sailing Beyond the Sea. It has been a fun book to share with you – but as we get to the last two chapters it seems to concentrate a lot on Medjugorje and I have to say that I’m not really a believer in Medjugorje at this point.
I was in the beginning – but I’m not now. So I don’t feel it is appropriate to continue with something that I cannot stand behind.
From this point forward I will be reviewing a book for only one week at a time – which was my original conception for this list. I won’t be ready to start that until February 2011.
If you want to unsubscribe from this list I certainly understand. Just click the link at the bottom of this email.
If not, I will be back in February!
January 31 – February 4
THE THIRD TESTAMENT -by John Eklund.
It is a Catholic novel that not only provides a good story but gives a wonderful historical perspective of the major hightlights of the Church over the last two centuries.
February 7 – February 11
Enter the Story by Fran Ferder
Biblical metaphors for our lives. This is a fascinating book that reveals the great spiritual convictions behind the sacred stories of the bible. Each story has a message that is powerful for living and understanding our faith with greater clarity and empowerment.
February 14 – February 18
Stories of Faith by Patricia Proctor
This is the collection of stories that I gathered for St. Mary’s Parish here in Albany, Oregon. The stories are fun, inspiring and touching. Anyone who has been part of a Catholic parish community will be sure the stories are from their own church family!
February 21 – February 25

Once again, I apologize for leaving you in the lurch with this book – but I just don’t feel until Medugorje is a little more credible that I want to promote it.
Blessings of Peace and All Good,
Patricia
